As a biokineticist, I firmly believe in the incredible healing capacity of the body. My rehabilitation philosophy centers on this belief, as I work to create personalized rehabilitation programs that are designed to restore function, improve movement, and prevent further injury.

My approach to rehabilitation is holistic and takes into account the physical, psychological, and social factors that may impact recovery. I believe that by addressing all of these factors, I can help my clients achieve the best possible outcomes and regain their quality of life.

In my rehabilitation programs, I use evidence-based techniques and modalities, such as exercise therapy, mobility training, and functional training, to target specific areas of the body and promote healing. I also prioritize education, helping my clients understand the underlying causes of their injury or dysfunction and providing them with strategies to prevent future problems.

Above all, I strive to build strong relationships with my clients. I work closely with them to understand their unique needs, goals, and concerns, creating a supportive and collaborative environment that fosters healing and recovery.

 

I offer home visits and mobile services and love doing home pilates classes in Stellenbosch. I bring all the equipment we will need for your session and take the stress of traffic and commuting away from you, plus I don't charge you for my fuel.

GENERAL CONDITIONING &
WEIGHT MANAGEMENT
FITNESS CLASSES

Biokineticists can help you determine what the best exercises are that can help you regain a good general condition. We do a full individual assessment to determine what areas you can and should improve on. 

We give an array of small group classes. These can be pilates-centred classes or higher-intensity exercise classes.

Groups of 3-5 people. 

ORTHOPAEDIC CONDITIONS
CHRONIC CONDITIONS

Orthopedic conditions  affects the musculoskeletal system, including bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and nerves. Biokineticiits can help with pre and post-operative rehabilitation as well as conservative rehabilitation instead of surgery.

Regular exercise can help manage symptoms, improve quality of life, and reduce the risk of complications associated with chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and arthritis.
